Travelers usually make preparation before flying enjoying an exciting holiday. It is good to do some homework over the travel destination. But most of the time one thing missed from the preparation list is “air sickness”. Feeling sick during flying might douse your all excitement. So avoid air sickness and enjoy an unforgettable journey.
Take a nutmeg
Just place a half nutmeg beneath your tongue. It would calm and stabilize you by entering the blood stream.
Ginger tea
Drinking ginger tea is a great way to avoid air sickness like nausea. If you don’t get ginger then ginger capsule is better.
Avoid heavy meals
Don’t eat heavily before a flight. Particularly sugar and carbohydrates can cause adrenaline rushes consequently create air sickness or panic attacks. So experts recommend taking high-protein meal with some low-carbohydrate vegetables.
Take peppermint oil
Nausea is a common air sickness and can be prevented by taking peppermint oil. If peppermint is not found peppermint gum or Life Savers are suggested.
Sucking Ice chips
Getting ice chips in your mouth would keep the stomach cool and calm. Ice can prevent acidity during flying.
Get a window seat
Book a window seat which would help you to feel comfortable. Actually in any journey window seat is great.
Set the air vent properly
After getting the seat make sure that air vent is pointed towards you. It would alleviate nausea.
